Kenji Miyasato vs Aki Masaki

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Shizuoka promoted show at Shizuoka Takagi, Shizuoka,  taking place on 23/01/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Japan-Shizuoka Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kenji Miyasato (15 - 2) who hails from Fuji, Japan and Aki Masaki(8 - 3(1) - 5) from Hamamatsu, Japan.  Both Miyasato and Masaki weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hisao Onishi, and the three ringside judges are Akira Sanda, Hisao Kawano and Kazuhiko Kawata.  

Round 1:
