Mikio Miyasaki vs Jiro Fujita

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Kyoto promoted show at Ichiro Tao Gym, Kyoto,  taking place on 23/01/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Kyoto Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mikio Miyasaki (12 - 2) who hails from Kyoto, Japan and Jiro Fujita(3 - 2 - 5) from Kyoto, Japan.  Miyasaki weighed in at 140 pounds, while Fujita weighed in at 139 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Takeo Imada, and the three ringside judges are Kenji Fujimoto, Kenji Fujimoto and Nao Mori.
