Ulan Kabiga vs Chiamaka Korir

Boxing Daily Report from the Konga Promotions promoted show at Nairobi Bifwoli, Nairobi,  taking place on 22/01/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Kenya-Nairobi Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ulan Kabiga (11 - 7(1)) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Chiamaka Korir(14 - 4) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Both Kabiga and Korir weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Duncan Wakihuri, and the three ringside judges are Shaun Arusei, Kyrone Koimbori and Lisimba Kimeli.  

Round 1: 

Korir advances into close range and drives a right hook into his opponents ribcage.  
Korir lands a left hook.  
Kabiga tries to land a jab, but Korir slips the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.
