Ollie Wyly vs Alastair Bardsley

Boxing Daily Report from the ABP Promotions promoted show at Magic City Casino, Miami,  taking place on 13/01/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Ollie Wyly (0 - 0) who hails from Overland Park, USA and Alastair Bardsley(0 - 1) from Augusta, USA.  Both Wyly and Bardsley weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fanuco Villarrubia, and the three ringside judges are Mark Briden, Ian Hossack and Rob Quigg.  

Round 1: 

Wyly gets on the inside and attempts to land a left hook, but Bardsley blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Wyly connects with a left hook.  
Wyly steps inside and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Wyly lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Wyly digs in a right hook to Bardsley's body.  Wyly ties up his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Wyly lands a right hook.  
Wyly lands a cross.  
Wyly lands a jab.  
Wyly is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents head.  
Wyly steps inside and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Bardsley throws a left hook, but Wyly ties up his opponent.  Bardsley tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Wyly behind the head. The ref breaks Wyly's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Wyly lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Wyly throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action and gives Bardsley time to recover.

Wyly walks Bardsley into the corner.  Wyly lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Bardsley gets on the inside.  Wyly drives a left hook into Bardsley's body.  
Wyly throws a right hook, but his opponent steps away from the punch.  Wyly holds on to his opponent.  Bardsley throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee warns Bardsley and breaks the clinch.  
Wyly steps inside.  Wyly attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Bardsley time to recover.  
Wyly gets on the inside.  Bardsley throws a left hook, but Wyly clinches his opponent.  Wyly throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Bardsley's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.

Wyly lands a jab.  
Wyly closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  
Wyly digs in a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Wyly sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.
