Peter Lyons vs James McColgan

Boxing Daily Report from the Elite Prizefighters promoted show at Bowlers Arena, Manchester,  taking place on 16/01/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Peter Lyons (9 - 0) who hails from London, UK and James McColgan(11 - 8(1) - 1) from Glasgow, UK.  Lyons weighed in at 160 pounds, while McColgan weighed in at 159 pounds And 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Robert Llewellyn, and the three ringside judges are Robert Bevans, Paul McIver and Mike Burchardt.
