Boxing Daily Report from the Smoking Joe promoted show at Walter Pyramid, Long Beach,  taking place on 23/02/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are James Thunder Umanzor (15(8) - 0) who hails from Santa Ana, USA and Yago Geronimo(7 - 4(2) - 2) from San Pedro Sula, Honduras.  Umanzor weighed in at 239 pounds and 4 ounces, while Geronimo weighed in at 245 pounds and 2 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Adam Reina, and the three ringside judges are David Ness, Billy Gracie and James Ruan.
