Boxing Daily Report from the Rattlesnake Promotions promoted show at H & PE Arena, Houston,  taking place on 07/02/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Barnes (16 - 1 - 2) who hails from Orlando, USA and Rizwan-ul-Haq Alghazzal(10 - 11(5) - 2) from Tangier, Morocco.  Both Barnes and Alghazzal weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Johnny Cornejo, and the three ringside judges are James Crum, David Manatt and Paul Kernell.

Barnes is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Alghazzal dabs at his face checking for damage.  Alghazzal recovers before his opponent can take advantage.
