Boxing Daily Report from the AI Australia-Victoria promoted show at Dom Kennedy Gym, Melbourne,  taking place on 08/02/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Theo Cadigan (14 - 0) who hails from Manukau, New Zealand and Jonathan Urso(1 - 4 - 1) from Brisbane, Australia.  Cadigan weighed in at 107 pounds and 14 ounces, while Urso weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bruce Munhall, and the three ringside judges are Ricky Gebbie, Hugh Collins and Malcolm Hanken.

He then lands a left hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the body, DROPPING URSO TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 9.  It looks like Urso has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Urso throws a left hook, but Cadigan ties up his opponent.  Cadigan leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
