Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Chiba promoted show at Keisei Hotel Miramare, Chiba,  taking place on 25/01/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Japan Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Michi Kagawa (13(1) - 2) who hails from Ichikawa, Japan and Kei Fujii(13(2) - 2) from Sapporo, Japan.  Both Kagawa and Fujii weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hideki Yanagi, and the three ringside judges are Kaede Ishimoto, Yoshi Uehara and Fumio Taketa.
