Aftab Baccus vs Shayan Baten

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Jordan-Amman promoted show at Amman Turay, Amman,  taking place on 24/01/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Jordan Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on JTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Aftab Baccus (9 - 0) who hails from Al-Quwaysimah, Jordan and Shayan Baten(5 - 14 - 1) from Amman, Jordan.  Both Baccus and Baten weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Zuffur Nahdi, and the three ringside judges are Ahmed Fares, Ali Keyrouz and Waqas Hossein.  

Round 1: 

Baccus is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.

Baten wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Baccus dabs at his face checking for damage.
