Kieran Josiah vs Banji Shikwati

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Nakuru promoted show at Naivasha Kipkemei, Naivasha,  taking place on 24/01/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Kenya Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Kieran Josiah (17 - 3) who hails from Kisumu, Kenya and Banji Shikwati(14 - 6 - 1) from Nakuru, Kenya.  Josiah weighed in at 239 pounds and 10 ounces, while Shikwati weighed in at 237 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Atif Ghazal, and the three ringside judges are Marques Muriuki, Malcolm Atwoli and Jay Butita.
