Canaan Yombi vs Canon Ndongo

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Cameroon-Centre promoted show at Delano Nnengue Gym, Yaoundé,  taking place on 26/01/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cameroon-Centre Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Canaan Yombi (10 - 8(1) - 4) who hails from Yaoundé, Cameroon and Canon Ndongo(10 - 9 - 4) from Yaoundé, Cameroon.  Yombi weighed in at 111 pounds and 11 ounces, while Ndongo weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ross Beaudin, and the three ringside judges are Briant Ahidjo, Josce Mbongo and Tyson Nguekam.  

Round 1: 

Yombi lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.
