Dimi Tohtarov vs Haaris Kaghgaliew

Boxing Daily Report from the GGG Imperat promoted show at Almaty Kajrimoff, Almaty,  taking place on 26/01/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Kazakhstan-Almaty Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTK, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dimi Tohtarov (15 - 3 - 3) who hails from Almaty, Kazakhstan and Haaris Kaghgaliew(12 - 6 - 1) from Almaty, Kazakhstan.  Tohtarov weighed in at 135 pounds, while Kaghgaliew weighed in at 134 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Goga Caribghanoff, and the three ringside judges are Malik Urazaev, Yasin Tomilov and Konstantin Usenow.
