Neper Magallanes vs Carlos Pelaez

Boxing Daily Report from the Kwofie Promotions promoted show at Mexicali Monte, Mexicali,  taking place on 26/01/2026:

Clearly Kwofie Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Mexico-Baja California Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TVC Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Neper Magallanes (12 - 1) who hails from Mexicali, Mexico and Carlos Pelaez(14 - 2 - 1) from Tijuana, Mexico.  Both Magallanes and Pelaez weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Federico Sanchez, and the three ringside judges are Nicandro Delgadillo, Lisandro Castellanos and Porfio Rodriguez.
