Aimon Diaz vs Carlos Barcena

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Chihuahua promoted show at Diego Alo Gym, Juarez,  taking place on 26/01/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Chihuahua Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Aimon Diaz (11 - 5) who hails from Juarez, Mexico and Carlos Barcena(12 - 3 - 2) from Juarez, Mexico.  Diaz weighed in at 112 pounds, while Barcena weighed in at 111 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Jose Espina, and the three ringside judges are Dario Alderete, Jose Espina and Juan Jaramillo.
