Alejandro Molinar vs Montel Coronel

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Distrito Federal promoted show at Mexico City Tejeda, Mexico City,  taking place on 26/01/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Distrito Federal Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alejandro Molinar (16 - 5(1) - 1) who hails from Mexico City, Mexico and Montel Coronel(9 - 2 - 3) from Mexico City, Mexico.  Molinar weighed in at 153 pounds and 10 ounces, while Coronel weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jesus Roque, and the three ringside judges are Joaquin Villasenor, Jesus Roque and Lorenzo Coronado.
