Boxing Daily Report from the AI Malaysia-Sarawak promoted show at Kuching Tahir, Kuching,  taking place on 27/01/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Malaysia Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV3, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Rashid Youssef (18(1) - 4) who hails from Kuching, Malaysia and Amer Abid(17 - 8(3)) from Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.  Youssef weighed in at 111 pounds and 12 ounces, while Abid weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Imran Majid, and the three ringside judges are Haaris Mahfouz, Haaris Mahfouz and Waqas Ayoub.
