Boxing Daily Report from the Monare Promotions promoted show at Managua Casimiro, Managua,  taking place on 27/01/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nicaragua Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ESTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Angel Velazco (14 - 6) who hails from Leon, Nicaragua and Ulises Varas(8 - 6 - 1) from Managua, Nicaragua.  Both Velazco and Varas weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Carlos Delgado, and the three ringside judges are Neron Godines, Gabriel Morejon and Zacarias Leyba.
