Boxing Daily Report from the AI Malaysia-Sarawak promoted show at Kuching Bina, Kuching,  taking place on 26/01/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Malaysia-Sarawak Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV3, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Asif Bey (13 - 3 - 1) who hails from Kuching, Malaysia and Gangapada Takshak(11 - 5 - 2) from Kuching, Malaysia.  Both Bey and Takshak weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sajid Sheikh, and the three ringside judges are Haaris Mahfouz, Farhan Salim and Waqas Ayoub.
