Obafemi Oresanya vs Ahmed Naim

Boxing Daily Report from the Kasanbata Promotions promoted show at Hope Zango Gym, Zaria,  taking place on 25/01/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Nigeria-Kaduna State Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Obafemi Oresanya (15 - 5 - 3) who hails from Kaduna, Nigeria and Ahmed Naim(5 - 3 - 4) from Zaria, Nigeria.  Oresanya weighed in at 146 pounds and 14 ounces, while Naim weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Saad Baksh, and the three ringside judges are Bature Moshood, William Vozor and Elderson Tutuola.
