Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Kano State promoted show at Kano Nwoke, Kano,  taking place on 27/01/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Kano State Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Khalid Munir (12 - 5) who hails from Kano, Nigeria and Ian Aruna(8 - 10(1) - 4) from Kano, Nigeria.  Both Munir and Aruna weighed in at 135 pounds.
