John Taylor vs Jay Cron

Boxing Daily Report from the Baddog promoted show at Bernie Arbour Memorial Stadium, Hamilton,  taking place on 16/02/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Canada-Ontario Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are John Taylor (15(5) - 0) who hails from Toronto, Canada and Jay Cron(10 - 7 - 1) from Brampton, Canada.  Taylor weighed in at 139 pounds and 12 ounces, while Cron weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Cade Queneau, and the three ringside judges are Denton Cadden, Ian Dashiell and Bruce Hutchison.
