Zacarias Cura vs Kazuhiko Sonoda

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Tokyo promoted show at Tokyo Yamamoto, Tokyo,  taking place on 02/02/2026:

Clearly AI Japan-Tokyo have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Zacarias Cura (12 - 1) who hails from Quezon City, Philippines and Kazuhiko Sonoda(14(7) - 1) from Chiba, Japan.  Cura weighed in at 118 pounds, while Sonoda weighed in at 117 pounds And 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Isamu Kuno, and the three ringside judges are Ryo Shiroma, Hiroki Amaya and Dai Ishikawa.
