Alejandro Cantero vs Cortez Alcazar

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Puerto Rico-San Juan promoted show at San Juan Rosero, San Juan,  taking place on 29/01/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Puerto Rico Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Puerto Rico Sports Network, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Alejandro Cantero (7 - 3) who hails from Bayamon, Puerto Rico and Cortez Alcazar(8 - 7 - 4) from San Juan, Puerto Rico.  Cantero weighed in at 146 pounds and 12 ounces, while Alcazar weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Quico Sereno, and the three ringside judges are Cortez Redondo, Fausto Jasmin and Carlos Torres.
