Juan Austria vs Alejandro Riojas

Boxing Daily Report from the Ballantyne Promotions promoted show at Quinto Jiminez Gym, Panama City,  taking place on 29/01/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Panama-Panama State Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Juan Austria (8 - 2 - 4) who hails from Panama City, Panama and Alejandro Riojas(7 - 2) from Panama City, Panama.  Both Austria and Riojas weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Elias Avalos, and the three ringside judges are Joaquin Morado, Vicente Lama and Cipriano Magan.  

Round 1: 

Riojas advances into close range and lands a right hook.  
Riojas lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.
