Santiago Sagudan vs Diego Requena

Boxing Daily Report from the Kpegah Promotions promoted show at Lapu-Lapu Salumbides, Lapu-Lapu,  taking place on 29/01/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines-Cebu Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Santiago Sagudan (9(1) - 2) who hails from Cebu City, Philippines and Diego Requena(12 - 7 - 1) from Mandaue, Philippines.  Sagudan weighed in at 117 pounds and 14 ounces, while Requena weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Carlos Dimanlig, and the three ringside judges are Vicente Baliad, Oihane Tatlonghari and Jair Puyot.
