Eloy Ruan vs Juan Avitia

Boxing Daily Report from the Agnozzi Promotions promoted show at Zamboanga City Yting, Zamboanga City,  taking place on 29/01/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Philippines-Zamboanga del Sur Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on IBC, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Eloy Ruan (13 - 1 - 1) who hails from Pagadian, Philippines and Juan Avitia(9 - 5 - 4) from Zamboanga City, Philippines.  Ruan weighed in at 122 pounds, while Avitia weighed in at 121 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Paco Pinto, and the three ringside judges are Quico Catacataca, Tajo Manguino and Jose Salido.  

Round 1: 

Ruan closes the distance and is on target with a left uppercut to Avitia's body.  Ruan clinches his opponent.  Ruan is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Ruan.
