Yodpitchai Tangunurat vs Anuntachai Madlam

Boxing Daily Report from the Dwinell Promotions promoted show at Chalermchai Paholpat Gym, Bangkok,  taking place on 01/01/2026:

Clearly Dwinell Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Thailand-Bangkok Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Yodpitchai Tangunurat (4 - 3 - 1) who hails from Bangkok, Thailand and Anuntachai Madlam(5 - 2) from Bangkok, Thailand.  Both Tangunurat and Madlam weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Susuwandee Choeichiu, and the three ringside judges are Fonluang Sommai, Ratchasak Piandit and Ratchasak Choeichiu.  

Round 1: 

Madlam advances into close range and walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Madlam is on target with a right hook.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Madlam dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Madlam pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Madlam is on target with a cross.  Madlam throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Tangunurat steps inside.  Madlam sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Madlam sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Madlam lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Madlam throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Madlam closes the distance.  Madlam sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Tangunurat has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
