Dave Ahearne vs Inigo Gethin

Boxing Daily Report from the Elliot Britton promoted show at Marriott Hotel, Bristol,  taking place on 28/01/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Dave Ahearne (3 - 0) who hails from Bournemouth, UK and Inigo Gethin(2 - 0) from Norwich, UK.  Both Ahearne and Gethin weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gus Cruguet, and the three ringside judges are Dom Buchan, Patrick Cameron and Glynn Reddick.  

Round 1: 

Ahearne lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.

Ahearne sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by  two right uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Gethin sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Ahearne is on target with a left hook to Gethin's body.  
Gethin manages to force Ahearne into the corner.  Gethin quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Ahearne lands a firm cross.  
Ahearne digs in a right uppercut to Gethin's body.
