Lee Slatter vs Kieran Dunkin

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Jamaica-Saint Catherine promoted show at Spanish Town Milleson, Spanish Town,  taking place on 14/01/2026:

Clearly AI Jamaica-Saint Catherine have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Lee Slatter (9 - 0) who hails from New Kingston, Jamaica and Kieran Dunkin(0 - 8) from Kingston, Jamaica.  Both Slatter and Dunkin weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Johnny Weems, and the three ringside judges are Spencer Clanahan, Johnny Weems and Max Graden.  

Round 1: 

Slatter steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Dunkin tries to tag Slatter on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  
Slatter lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Slatter drives a right hook into Dunkin's body.  Slatter attempts to land a left hook, but Dunkin sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Dunkin is looking to close the distance.  Slatter connects with a right hook.  Slatter holds on to his opponent.  Dunkin pushes his forearm into Slatter's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Dunkin about fouling.  
Slatter is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  Slatter ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Slatter pushes his forearm into Dunkin's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Slatter.  
Slatter lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Slatter holds on to his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Slatter lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Dunkin lands a left hook.  Dunkin attempts to land a left hook, but Slatter slips the shot and counters with a cross.

Slatter lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Dunkin throws a right hook, but Slatter ties up his opponent.  Slatter is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Slatter lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Slatter lands a left uppercut.  Slatter holds on to his opponent.  Slatter leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Slatter lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Dunkin has taken some damage there.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.  
Dunkin advances into close range and throws a left hook, but Slatter ties up his opponent.  Slatter leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Slatter's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

At the end of Round 4, lets listen in on the corners...Slatter's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.  Dunkin's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Frustration is reaching boiling point for Dunkin now.    He throws a hook, and catches Slatter low!  The ref signals for the action to continue.  He either hasnt noticed the blatant foul or doesnt care!

Dunkin is clearly losing his cool here!   He swings an uppercut into his opponents groin! The ref doesnt appear to have noticed the foul and signals for the action to continue.  
You can sense the frustration from Dunkin now.    He throws a hook, and catches Slatter low!  The ref ignores Slatter's protests and signals for the action to continue!
