Bongi Ndulula vs Kris Mkhize

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Cape Town ICC, Cape Town,  taking place on 01/02/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the South Africa-Western Cape Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are El Kabong Bongi Ndulula (13 - 0) who hails from Cape Town, South Africa and Kris Mkhize(5 - 13 - 3) from Cape Town, South Africa.  Ndulula weighed in at 246 pounds and 15 ounces, while Mkhize weighed in at 238 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is La Vonn Dorkenoo, and the three ringside judges are Laken Ako, Oringo Arthur and Laken Ako.
