Vicente Britto vs Gervasio Forero

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Uruguay-Montevideo promoted show at Montevideo Maduro, Montevideo,  taking place on 02/01/2026:

Clearly AI Uruguay-Montevideo have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Uruguay Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Vicente Britto (2 - 4 - 2) who hails from Montevideo, Uruguay and Gervasio Forero(5 - 3) from Montevideo, Uruguay.  Britto weighed in at 234 pounds and 11 ounces, while Forero weighed in at 228 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Jair Vilchis, and the three ringside judges are Ramirez Barquero, Reyes Olmedo and Rodrigo Bacallao.
