Federico Batongbacal vs Alejandro Salguero

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Philippines-Laguna promoted show at San Pedro Clavel, San Pedro,  taking place on 30/01/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on IBC, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Federico Batongbacal (12 - 5 - 2) who hails from Antipolo, Philippines and Alejandro Salguero(9 - 4 - 2) from San Pablo, Philippines.  Batongbacal weighed in at 154 pounds, while Salguero weighed in at 153 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Xavier Sicat, and the three ringside judges are Cortez Rosete, Neper Langkin and Santiago Trillo.
