Andrii Maitakov vs Aleksei Polyakov

Boxing Daily Report from the Meer Promotions promoted show at Krasnodar Obst, Krasnodar,  taking place on 28/01/2026:

Clearly Meer Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Russia-Krasnodar Krai Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Andrii Maitakov (8 - 7 - 4) who hails from Sochi, Russia and Aleksei Polyakov(12 - 5 - 4) from Novorossiysk, Russia.  Both Maitakov and Polyakov weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Evgeny Porzhnev, and the three ringside judges are Vasili Shutkov, Sergei Mekhontsev and Isaak Aladachvili.
