Kyan Kalan vs Luister Mugenga

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Uganda-Kampala District promoted show at Kampala Sewankambo, Kampala,  taking place on 02/01/2026:

Clearly AI Uganda-Kampala District have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Uganda-Kampala District Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kyan Kalan (12 - 4 - 1) who hails from Kampala, Uganda and Luister Mugenga(6 - 6 - 1) from Kampala, Uganda.  Kalan weighed in at 121 pounds and 15 ounces, while Mugenga weighed in at 122 pounds.
