Gennady Gurka vs Apostol Kostyk

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ukraine-Kiev Oblast promoted show at Kiev Demchak, Kiev,  taking place on 02/01/2026:

Clearly AI Ukraine-Kiev Oblast have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ukraine-Kiev Oblast Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gennady Gurka (11 - 3 - 1) who hails from Kiev, Ukraine and Apostol Kostyk(16 - 1) from Kiev, Ukraine.  Both Gurka and Kostyk weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Krystiyan Michalko, and the three ringside judges are Alik Markow, Volodmiri Dziuba and Afon Molchanov.
