Ewan Aulds vs Nuru Dotse

Boxing Daily Report from the Rattlesnake Promotions promoted show at H & PE Arena, Houston,  taking place on 07/02/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ewan Aulds (17 - 0) who hails from Louisville, USA and Nuru Dotse(12 - 10 - 2) from Soweto, South Africa.  Both Aulds and Dotse weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul Kernell, and the three ringside judges are James Crum, Johnny Cornejo and David Manatt.  

Round 1: 

Aulds gets on the inside.  Aulds sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Aulds is on target with a right hook to Dotse's ribs.  Aulds attempts to land a right hook, but Dotse parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
