Boxing Daily Report from the Rooq Promotions promoted show at Malawati Stadium, Shah Alam,  taking place on 18/01/2026:

Clearly Rooq Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Danyaal Harroun (1 - 0) who hails from Shah Alam, Malaysia and Ken-arok Marcel(3 - 2) from Samarinda, Indonesia.  Both Harroun and Marcel weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Danyaal Amer, and the three ringside judges are Adnan Satter, Haider Kabir and Malik Salloum.  

Round 1: 

Harroun closes the distance and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by two left hook's to the head.  
Harroun sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Marcel is on target with a jab.  
Harroun is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Harroun switches the action to the outside and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Harroun steps inside.  Harroun pivots to the left of his opponent.  Marcel throws a right hook, but Harroun clinches his opponent.  Harroun pushes his forearm into Marcel's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Harroun is on target with a left uppercut.  
Marcel throws a right hook, but Harroun ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Harroun pushes his forearm into Marcel's face.  The referee warns Harroun and breaks the clinch.  
Harroun is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with a jab.  
Harroun gets on the inside and digs in a right uppercut to Marcel's body.  
Harroun steps away from his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Marcel is looking to close the distance.  Harroun lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Harroun lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Harroun is on target with a jab.
