Boxing Daily Report from the Rooq Promotions promoted show at Malawati Stadium, Shah Alam,  taking place on 18/01/2026:

Clearly Rooq Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Majid Safi (4 - 0) who hails from Shah Alam, Malaysia and Ali Ismail(1 - 4 - 3) from Ipoh, Malaysia.  Both Safi and Ismail weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Haider Kabir, and the three ringside judges are Adnan Satter, Danyaal Amer and Malik Salloum.
