Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Gauteng promoted show at Jackson Mkhize Gym, Soweto,  taking place on 31/01/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Africa-Gauteng Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Subusiso Motupa (9 - 10 - 1) who hails from Roodepoort, South Africa and Nabulung Addy(10 - 8 - 3) from Pretoria, South Africa.  Both Motupa and Addy weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Amon Makwetla, and the three ringside judges are Quaddus Rascalimu, Mark Van Jaarsveld and Peter Mbalula.
