Dakarai Sikali vs Jowan Du Toit

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Gauteng promoted show at Ian Van Ryneveld Gym, Soweto,  taking place on 31/01/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Africa-Gauteng Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dakarai Sikali (2 - 2 - 2) who hails from Katlehong, South Africa and Jowan Du Toit(4 - 3 - 3) from Johannesburg, South Africa.  Both Sikali and Du Toit weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vuyisile Sekola, and the three ringside judges are Aenas Van der Walt, Here Van Heerden and Uba Akamenya.
