Ian Louw vs Rob Van Jaarsveld

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Gauteng promoted show at Jackson Mkhize Gym, Soweto,  taking place on 31/01/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Africa-Gauteng Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ian Louw (7 - 9 - 4) who hails from Germiston, South Africa and Rob Van Jaarsveld(11 - 3 - 2) from Mamelodi, South Africa.  Louw weighed in at 200 pounds, while Van Jaarsveld weighed in at 199 pounds And 3 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Amon Makwetla, and the three ringside judges are Quaddus Rascalimu, Peter Mbalula and Mark Van Jaarsveld.
