Lamech Chidakwa vs Shevon Simuchele

Boxing Daily Report from the Sangweni Promotions promoted show at Lusaka Chalwe, Lusaka,  taking place on 03/01/2026:

Clearly Sangweni Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Zambia-Lusaka Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Lamech Chidakwa (7 - 7 - 1) who hails from Lusaka, Zambia and Shevon Simuchele(2 - 8) from Lusaka, Zambia.  Both Chidakwa and Simuchele weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vashon Kalunga, and the three ringside judges are Luister Sibanda, Shevon Sekani and Ibeamaka Urbano.
