Boxing Daily Report from the AI Italy-Sicily promoted show at Adolfo Secchia Gym, Catania,  taking place on 01/02/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Italy-Sicily Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gianmarco Amoruso (15 - 2 - 5) who hails from Messina, Italy and Luigino Valdifiori(8 - 7 - 8) from Messina, Italy.  Amoruso weighed in at 146 pounds and 2 ounces, while Valdifiori weighed in at 146 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Giorgio Domenici, and the three ringside judges are Rocco Galati, Fabrizio Bernacchi and Claudio Pasqual.
