Colin Coull vs David Higgins

Boxing Daily Report from the Nkansah Promotions promoted show at Geoff Petrie Gym, Independence,  taking place on 02/02/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Mid West Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Colin Coull (8 - 11(1) - 3) who hails from Kansas City, USA and David Higgins(5 - 0) from St. Louis, USA.  Both Coull and Higgins weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kris Hogge, and the three ringside judges are Mick Bihl, Phil Ekberg and Antwan Dougherty.  

Round 1: 

Higgins lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Higgins is on target with a left hook.  
Coull is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Higgins feints a right hook, and then lands a solid jab.
