Khalid Fareedi vs Hassan Salaam

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Malaysia-Perak promoted show at Ipoh Noor, Ipoh,  taking place on 02/02/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Malaysia-Perak Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV3, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Khalid Fareedi (15 - 0 - 1) who hails from Ipoh, Malaysia and Hassan Salaam(14 - 6 - 4) from Ipoh, Malaysia.  Fareedi weighed in at 108 pounds, while Salaam weighed in at 107 pounds And 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Syed Khan, and the three ringside judges are Danyaal Moghaddam, Ibrahim Baccus and Jawad Shah.
