Robert Methvin vs Darryl Guardia

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Texas promoted show at Houston Lemmond, Houston,  taking place on 02/02/2026:

Clearly AI USA-Texas have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Texas Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Robert Methvin (12 - 9 - 2) who hails from San Antonio, USA and Darryl Guardia(5 - 10 - 4) from San Antonio, USA.  Methvin weighed in at 118 pounds, while Guardia weighed in at 117 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Brett Sproule, and the three ringside judges are Faisal Rasul, Amon East and James Crum.
