Haji Aghamehdiyev vs Anar Shamhalov

Boxing Daily Report from the Zungu Promotions promoted show at Luka Sheihzamanly Gym, Samarqand,  taking place on 31/01/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Uzbekistan-Samarqand Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Haji Aghamehdiyev (5 - 1 - 2) who hails from Samarqand, Uzbekistan and Anar Shamhalov(14 - 5(1) - 1) from Samarqand, Uzbekistan.  Both Aghamehdiyev and Shamhalov weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vasili Talgatckyzy, and the three ringside judges are Ahmed Shariff, Yaman Tahirov and Sergey Sadygov.
