Shayan Basara vs Waqar Tabet

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Saudi Arabia-East promoted show at Riyadh Baha, Riyadh,  taking place on 01/02/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Saudi Arabia Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Shayan Basara (17(1) - 2) who hails from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and Waqar Tabet(15 - 4 - 1) from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.  Basara weighed in at 153 pounds and 7 ounces, while Tabet weighed in at 154 pounds.
