Uba Chipepo vs Vandwon Fungamwango

Boxing Daily Report from the Kit Henderson promoted show at Lisimba Kalabula Gym, Ndola,  taking place on 01/02/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Zambia Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ZNBC, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Uba Chipepo (12 - 2) who hails from Kitwe, Zambia and Vandwon Fungamwango(8 - 1) from Lusaka, Zambia.  Both Chipepo and Fungamwango weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mablevi Machila, and the three ringside judges are Faraji Jobe, Kwamin Ilunga and Tamarius Miyanda.  

Round 1:
